So tonight Greg and I are going to a couples cooking and wine pairing class. Greg has bestowed this gift upon us after I told him that he never does anything for me anymore!! Note to all guys -- If you spoil your girlfriend with gifts, random acts of kindness, and general sweet nothings in the first few months of dating, expect to keep it up FOREVER!! Just kidding Greggy.

Anywho, this class should be interesting, and I'm really hoping we are the most un-classy, un-couthe people there. Why? Because it will be fun to make fun of all the people who think they are gastronomers. Once Greg and I went to a wine tasting in VA and this one dude there loved trying to show off his wine knowledge, or lack thereof. Example: "What kind of oak was this wine aged in? I'm really getting hints of a maple-wood-ginko-oak-dogwood-pear-tree-bush." He was an idiot, and it made for some good entertainment.

In Banksy news, the little woogy has mastered sit, down, paw, and roll over. All at 14 weeks!! He is sooooooooo smart and cute and I love him. He just graduated kindergarden and he will seriously miss his good friend Wallace.

Greg posted, so I must post. I have to agree with Greg in that this week should be verrrrrrry interesting. Me, him, his friend Drew and, of course, Banksy all jammed into our little apartment, (that for all intents and purposes is a studio), with one measly bathroom to share, one tv, NO privacy. Should be fun. I might shoot myself in the face. I will deal though. In other news, Banksy is growing, I am going to start applying to schools, aaaaaaand im feeling fat. Enjoy the day!

The couple that blogs together, stays together

Greg has started a blog. Greg has started "following" me. Thus, I now have inspiration to keep up with my postings, if only to entertain my lovely boyfriend who I spend all my time with anyway. Should be fun. New in my life: my French bulldog puppy named Banksy. He's amazing and the cutest thing I have ever seen. He is also the cutest puppy most people have ever seen. I know this because they tell me. Judge for yourself.

New Prez

We have a new president. His name is Barack Obama and he's awesome. More details, including pics of mobbing the White House, to come.

VOTE

Today is election day and I sent my absentee ballot in. Very exciting to live in DC at a time like this. Probably the only time living in DC is exciting. My bf left me to go hiking and im very sad. This is him and I in our apt.

My new blog

I started a blog, mainly because I'm at work and I read other peoples blogs so I felt inspired. I wouldnt recommend actually reading this blog because it will be decidedly boring. However, if iI mention you in my blog, read it, because reading about yourself is fun(ny).
